Naweed Tahmas has been featured and quoted in numerous outlets, including the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Wall St. Journal, and TIME.

A former fellow at UC Berkeley's Institute of Governmental Studies, he holds a B.A. in political science with a concentration in international relations from UC Berkeley. As an undergraduate student, he had focused his studies on political realism and the rise and statecraft of China.

Naweed served as the Special Assistant to the President and Associate Director of the White House. He later joined Umbra Space as the director of strategy before cofounding Aeon Industries, which is developing advanced capabilities at scale.
